At XF2, we often call Scott Yaeger the “Guru of Filtration” — and it’s not just a nickname. His journey in filtration and separation began at DuPont in 1969, and since then he has authored over 60 papers and presentations and helped shape the industry through leadership roles, including founding the American Filtration and Separation Society.
Scott is also a prolific inventor, holding multiple patents and having developed three new membrane technologies. As a consultant, he has guided companies from Fortune 100s to startups across industries like pharmaceuticals, automotive, water treatment, and aerospace, turning complex filtration challenges into high-performance solutions.
Since 2009, Scott has led XF2’s prototype development efforts, creating filtration and separation systems that improve performance by up to 650%. His work continues to drive XF2’s mission of recovering and reusing water smarter, safer, and more efficiently, making every drop count.
